About a week ago I was lucky enough to win this stunning Oasis dress in Amelie's twitter competition. It arrived in the post yesterday morning and I couldn't wait to try it on and start prancing around the house! I was a little worried at first whether it would fit or if it might be something to wear after I've lost a few more pounds, so I was very excited when the zip did up first time - eeek!
Anyway, here are a few pictures that I took last night. True to form I had far more out takes than nice pictures so I thought it would be fun to share my rather special face with you as well!
I absolutely adore this dress. I love the shape , especially the sweetheart neckline, and the fabric is amazing! Glittery clothes have always made me a little bit nervous - no one wants to look like they belong of the top of a Christmas tree - but this dress has the perfect amount of sparkle without over doing it. I'd love to add some chunky accessories to this outfit, some studded heels and maybe a chopped biker jacket to add a little bit of edge.
I was really surprised how much I liked this dress on, it's not too glittery but is perfect for a night out in the city - now all I need is somewhere to go!
