5 Days. 5 Colours: Day Four - Red

Today's post for the 5 Days, 5 Colours challenge is very basic I'm afraid. I wasn't feeling too well this morning and as such all of the pictures I took came out pretty badly. Most of my day was spent in bed flicking through endless pages of job vacancies and reading blog posts - hence the lack of details in this outfit.

Anyway, here's what I wore today - pre gym and general ickiness.

Dress - Next | Hat - New Look

I came across this dress when I took my mum shopping last month and only really tried it on so had something to take into the changing rooms (I'd already bought half the shop a few days earlier) but was surprised how much I liked it. It's by no means the kind kind of dress I'd usually wear, but I figured it could be dressed up for interviews and make a nice change from wearing the usual pencil skirt and shirt combo that seems to have been a staple of all of my job interviews.

Normally I'd wear this dress with a chunky black belt and some statement gold accessories, but as getting out of my pjs was such an effort today I'm afraid the best I could do was grab a near by trilby.

The make up for this outfit was also pretty simple. A neutral smoky look for the eyes, making the most of Urban Decay's Naked 2 pallet, and some red lipstick to brighten things up. If it's something you'd be interested in seeing I'll re-do the make up one a day where I'm not looking quite so ill and pop the pictures up on Facebook or something - today's attempts at getting a few shots really weren't worth posting!

So that's that for day four of the 5 Days, 5 Colours challenge. Apologies for such a rushed and detail lacking post, here's hoping I'm feeling better tomorrow and can but something a little more creative together for you!
